I am very excited for a trip I am taking this coming week. I am flying to Honolulu on Monday, then chartering a sailboat for four days. I am going from Honolulu to Lanai, then on to Maui, then back to Oahu by way of Molokai. These are all islands I haven’t visited before. My last couple of trips were to Kauai — which is incredible. I just talked to the captain of the boat and the weather is supposed to be great. We are going to fish every day and eat what we catch. Also, there are supposed to be fantastic places to snorkel along the way. I hope that there are sea turtles. They are my favorite. I didn’t know this but the north shore of Molokai has the highest sea cliffs on earth. That’s what this picture is of at the top. That will be something to see in person.
I am going to bring a digital camera and my PC so I can write about the experience while we are sailing. Supposedly, there is good cell coverage offshore so I can use my handy wwan connection to post. We’ll see how that all shakes out.

  2. Thanks, Bruce. It was an incredible trip. You are very lucky to have spent so much time there. I’ve never seen or experienced anything like it. I almost didn’t come home! :)
