If you haven’t read this book, read it. If you have read it, give it to a friend. It is the funniest thing I have ever read. Toole was a brilliant writer whose talent, sadly, went unnoticed while he was living. Big props to Mother Toole who worked hard to get her son’s work published and recognized after his death by suicide.
