I think I may have a problem managing my expectations in my relationships. I have been devoted to Lost since the beginning. I have evangelized it, I have tivod it every single episode. More importantly, I have waited patiently since that dark day in December when they sprang the news on me that they were going to take something called winter break for an ubelievably long period of time. Last night was a huge disappointment. I am so tired of the Kate and Sawyer show. Get back to what made this show great please — the incremental unfolding of a complex and high velocity scifi story. The manufactured tension between the blonde Other lady and Jack is now grating. Her deadpan delivery is annoying. But above all WHY did I wait ten weeks for a g.d. jungle chase, a false OR climax, and a CANOE ride to the original island?!?

The danger in being so good at what you do, Mr. Abrams, if that is your real name, is that when you slack off, we notice really freaking fast. And it’s a real let down.

And yes, I will still watch. But I am very disappointed.

  1. Bummer to hear that Heroes sucked. Don’t follow Lost and keep forgetting to tune into American Idol – not that I have in the past, but I want to see what happens to the Indian kids :)

  2. I have a feeling that the Indian brother and sister are going to have some kind of fight in Hollywood. They alluded to something like that in the audition episode. It was already pretty awkward when the judges told the brother that he was better than the sister. He he.

  3. Apparently she’s out now. And he’s in the final 24 (or something). They should have kept her in for the entertainment of sibling rivalry and for all the Indian men who think she’s a hottie :)
