Iraq
November 19th, 2006 by mdI think it will be interesting to see what happens in the next 3-6 months. Clearly lots of people are unhappy about what’s happening in Iraq. However, I think the large mass of unhappy people is going to break into at least two groups: those who are unhappy because we are failing and who want us to stay, increase our effort, and win; and those who are unhappy we are there at all and want us to leave. I am not sure which camp I am in yet. I think it’s probably best if we just leave. Or perhaps, pull back from the cities, put a large fence around the oil fields, and start pumping them dry.
